About Trinity Love Church Full Gospel

On Saturday July 7th, 2007 (Trinity Love Church Full Gospel started operating as a church in Dallas, Texas. The Articles of Incorporation were officially filed on July 3rd, with a stated effective date of 07-07-2007. Instead of having a service, the church membership participated in volunteer and mentoring activities at the Beckley-Saner Recreation Center with the first “Sunday” service schedule for August.

Although the church was born on July 3rd, it would take about sixteen years to come into fruition. It would take the call of God to get the process started in the summer of 1991. This was the summer that began the maturation process for a young man who would eventually become a man of God.

That summer, Brother Jerry Lee Macon, Jr. was standing outside of the apartment building in which he lived when he heard the word “come”. Jerry knew it was God and answered back in his spirit, “I know what happens to those who serve you.”

Jerry was twenty-two then and it took four years for him to except the call of God. There was nothing going wrong at that time in his life, but he responded to God telling him it was time to get started. So, on the first Sunday of October, 1995, and immediately after his last night at a local night club, he joined the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Indianapolis, Indiana under Pastor Ronald Covington Sr.

He remained in that church family for almost four years. He later answered God’s leading to join Harvest Prayer Center under Pastor(s) G.E. and Wanda Studdard. The following year, Pastor G.E. Studdard officiated his marriage to the former Tiffany S. Mason/Bellamy.

In September, of 2003, Jerry answered the call of returning to the military with the purpose of getting improved order for himself and his family. He returned to the Army National Guard and trained as a Chaplain’s Assistant and then became an Officer in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant by the end of 2004. God used this commission to get him into the Chaplain Candidate program to train for military chaplaincy.

By May of 2005, Jerry was approved of his home church (Harvest Prayer Center) for military chaplaincy because of his faithfulness to the youth ministry the previous five years. That endorsement helped the Chaplaincy Of Full Gospel Churches (Trinity Ministries, Inc. of Dallas, Texas) to complete their background check and inquiry into his fitness to enter the ministry as a civilian minister and a military candidate for Chaplaincy. On May 10, 2005, he was ordained as a minister with the legal standing to perform all the sacraments of the church.
